Ladies and gentleman... we got him! Alright look I know that hes old and for all we know he may just royally shit the bed, but Cano to the Mets is exciting. He's a big name with history. He's got a .304 career batting average. And its not like hes coasting on his early years, last season he ended with a .303 so. The last time the Mets had a player with name recognition was David Wright, and that guys gone no where. Mets made surprisingly good trades this off-season, which honestly is unheard of. Anyhow, with Opening Day just a month away it is time for us to strap in for the long haul. We are almost upon the second best sports season of the year so pack a lip and get ready to cheer for a game that's way too long and just a bit boring.
P.S. Where the hell is everyone?

After some discussion with other members I have decided to clarify. I know the Mets have had some quality talent since David Wright (Syndergaard, De Grom, etc.), what I meant was that we haven't had a slugger. A guy who can knock the stitches out and get me excited. All respect to those ace pitchers, but I've been waiting for a guy who can get me half chub when he steps up to the plate.
